A diagnosis of Bacterial Meningitis as opposed to just general meningitis is a good thing. Bacterial is nearly always treated with a full or nearly full recovery. They just have to hit it hard with some pretty hefty antibiotics. The other type is a virus (from my understanding) and they're not able to do much but make the patient comfortable till the illness runs it's course, which leaves some pretty nasty problems in it's wake. I have a friend who's son came down with Bacterial Meningitis after a car accident and some pretty major facial and skull injuries. He's fine now.
I'm going to pray for Justin anyway though, because these days, nothing is certain. I pray for him to have doctors with angels on their shoulders.
