Is Mrs. Coppedge still around? She taught 5th grade math when I was in Elementary and I attribute my love/hate relationship with math to her. I had a real problem with "talking too much in class" and she must have assigned me times tables as punishment "numerous" times. Truly she was a motivating teacher and was the foundation for my early math skills but as a pre-teen girl, sitting at tables with my classmates and not being allowed to talk -- THAT WAS TORTURE!!
