The Stanley Cup - 2008/03/09 07:35
So did anyone else get to Tulsa to see it today? We did. Dan (my hubby) being Canadian and all we couldn't dare miss it. And as a result, have the MOST amazing picture EVER!!! Most of you probably don't care one whit about hockey, but it's a mainstay around our house. And this picture will be an heirloom forever I think.
Anyway...the story:
The Stanley Cup was in Tulsa today, for viewing, for like 2 1/2 hours...and we got to see it/touch it/put Abby IN it! OMFG the coolest thing ever to happen to me. Dan is absolutely over the moon about it! LOOK at that smile!!!! And she was an absolute angel through the whole waiting in line, and all the being put in it and all that. But honestly, how many people can say their baby has gotten to sit IN Lord Stanley's Cup? This is something she's going to be able to have for the rest of her life (it's being burned on a CD and put in my Dad's fireproof safe). lmao I never in my life thought I'd ever be able to see the Cup...much less touch it and have my picture taken with it. And when they told us to put Abby IN it...I nearly DIED! And Dan was like...HELL YES! So we did, and got a FABULOUS picture. I'm so excited!!!
