No way I could do the Coast Guard. I love to swim and I like to be out on a boat. At least on the land, I can take more guys with me, and there are more places to hide if we need to. I'll just deal with the heat. To be honest, you really do get used to it after a while. Being my second time over here, it isn't so bad. Right now, I would love to be mowing the grass somewhere. That would mean I was seeing something green instead of a bunch of brown all the time. I found out today that they opened a pool on the camp I'm at, but it is still about a 20-25 minute drive from where I work to get to it. I'm sure it will be full all the time too. I'm almost done and out of here anyway, so I think I'll make it. Looks like the end of August is the magic time. It just can't get here soon enough!
