Bonjour Mes Amis, Bonjour! - 2007/03/29 14:43 Does that statement ring any bells for anyone? Anyone who might have participated in Mrs. Kroeker's music class in Elementary?

That tune still leaps into my head from time to time, without warning or reason. Just thought I'd share my torment.

Re:Bonjour Mes Amis, Bonjour! - 2007/03/29 16:34 It took me a minute to figure out what it said. And then it came to me...like a rock falling off a cliff. lol That same tune comes into my head quite often but I thought I made it up. The song just repeats those words over and over, right? Thanks for reminding me where that REALLY came from. Nice stroll down memory lane.

Re:Bonjour Mes Amis, Bonjour! - 2007/03/29 22:56 Oh yeah, those are the only words in the entire song. Over and over and over.

Can you finish this tune?

"Oh Senior Don Gato was a cat, on a high, red roof Dan Gato sat...."

Jimbob would really belt that one out in particular, as I recall.

Re:Bonjour Mes Amis, Bonjour! - 2007/03/30 05:35 'I adore you wrote the lady cat. Who was fluffy, white, and nice and fat.'

No fair if you Googled it!

I can't remember what I had for dinner last night... but stuff from years ago tends to pop up now and then at random. Like in 4th grade science class when Cheryl Brent scribbled in ink over some new stickers I put on my sweet new Trapper Keeper! Those stickers were mail order and she ruined them! There's no justice. I'm still sore about it. At least no one vandalized that smooth Wonder Bread-truck lunch box I had. Only one in the whole school, I might add.

We have a lot of old Newspapers but I don't know where they are right now or how complete they are. I'd like to see them sometime.

Do you remember when I got in trouble in Newspaper for picking on Michelle and Dana one day? Mrs. Duck told me to go out in the hall, which I did. As I waited for my chewing I looked back inside through that window in the door and saw Andrea Cowan standing on the other side making a face at me. A few seconds later the door opened and I thought it was Andrea coming to say 'Ha ha!' So I gave the door a little shove with my shoulder to mash her into the doorframe. It turned out to be Mrs. Duck and I thought her head was going to explode! I couldn't apologize fast enough! We were terrible in that class. It was great.
