Re:Any interesting 'Blizzard of '06' stories? - 2006/12/05 17:30 We totally wasted this snow. I did chop some ice on two ponds for my dad one day. Fun Fun.
I plan on getting a ATV this Spring, then I will be set for future snows. Pulling a watersports tube is a good idea! I'm thinking a car hood would be a pretty Chouteau thing to try pulling with an ATV in the snow. I'll want to try that sometime before I'm old.

Speaking of four wheelers, if anyone knows of a local used one in GOOD shape, at least a 250cc or preferably even a little bigger, and no more than 5-6 years old, I might like to look it over this Spring.

Re:Any interesting 'Blizzard of '06' stories? - 2006/12/06 20:37 I shot this looking out our front door South of Chouteau, on Thursday Morning. No exciting stories, stayed inside as much as possible to avoid risking a fall.

Re:Any interesting 'Blizzard of '06' stories? - 2006/12/07 07:38 I didn't get to play at all, I was stuck in bed with a migraine that lasted for nearly a week and a half. Seems like SOMETHING always happens when we have a good snow. Last really good snow we had I was so big and pregnant (2000) I could barely walk, much less participate in a good snowball fight.

One funny thing happened though...my son discovered that bike riding through snow drifts isn't very smart. LMAO I get such a kick out of the funny/silly things he does. I can't wait till this summer when he's a teenager and he does even more silly stuff! He already thinks he gets away with EVERYTHING. Hehe He doesn't know that half the town tells on him, calls me or catches me somewhere and tells, and the other half tells my grandpa. lol He got to spend the first two days of the snow with my ex (not his dad) on the farm. He needed him to help him hay and feed and such, and was going to take him hunting (Kory's second year with a hunting license) but it got too cold for them to be sitting in trees. *sigh* Living in Oklahoma...

Re:Any interesting 'Blizzard of '06' stories? - 2006/12/08 16:04 I went golfing, whilst you folks were freezing your rears off.
I love Florida 78 degrees in December.

Re:Any interesting 'Blizzard of '06' stories? - 2006/12/09 02:41 I would love 78 degrees right about now. The wind is whippin and my butt is cold.

Re:Any interesting 'Blizzard of '06' stories? - 2006/12/14 05:16 It's been in the 70's for the last two days here. Which is wonderful. Course, I stopped complaining about the cold the first time I went to Canada to visit my in-laws over the new year. GOOD LORD it should be against the law for ANYPLACE to be that cold! I don't like cold weather, but I have to say we never get THAT cold down here.
