Sadly, 'Boatcephus' is likely done for the Summer. Saturday, while heading in to load up after a day on Lake Hudson, we had a collision. A guy in a bass boat didn't see us and hit us, I'd guess about 30-35mph. His boat ramped ours and he was ejected but didn't seem seriously hurt. The hit was against Michelle's side and threw her into the floor. Her knee is really sore and may need some rehab. We went to the ER and the baby is ok. (4 months pregnant).
I thought the guy rammed us on purpose until we met him on the shore. He swears he didn't see us or hear me honking. I thought he was suicidal at the time. Apparantly he just needs glasses.
Pretty scary folks! Watch out on those lakes! I saw this guy heading at us with plenty of room to spare and turned to avoid him but he just steered toward us like a guided missile! (Both boats are supposed to turn right when heading toward each other).
