Re:Still around Chouteau?? - 2006/03/18 12:31 Joe's (hubby) job took us to Alaska. He was managing pipeline repair projects. We loved Alaska. There's no ugly parts! We got a chance to take a permenant job there, but we turned it down. All our family is here. It was a very hard decision, because we fell in love with Alaska so much. Although the light/dark thing was an adjustment. I wish I could go when it was more bitterly cold. Denali National Park is pretty incredible. It's really neat to spot out bear, moose, and caribou. We went on a couple of day cruises while we were there and it was incredible to see the icebergs and glaciers!

Joe changed industries in his career, so now he doesn't have to travel. And that's nice. But it was really nice to be in Alaska!

Re:Still around Chouteau?? - 2006/03/20 23:43 Uhm...did you say you wished you could go back when it's colder????

Neither of us like cold weather much, wish we could hibernate through it. Winter should not count against one's lifepsan.
However, we love the Rockies. Is Alaska where you both went skiing?
This is the first spring break in about 3 years when we didn't ski (skipped this time because of preggy). So we really missed going somewhere and may actually strangle each other before Michelle gets out for summer and we can go camping. She teaches at LG Elementary.

Michelle also says you missed your deadline for your newspaper article but she's willing to grant an extension. She does need lots of quotes, though.

Paul, can you send me Andy's email address? If you help me get a LAN Admin job over there I will tell you what time to play which video poker machine and how much to bet. Deal?

Re:Still around Chouteau?? - 2006/03/29 17:00 No, we didn't go skiing in Alaska, although we did visit Alyeska ski resort and look around. We had our daughter with us & she was just a wee little baby at the time. Actually, I'm new to snow skiing, but I love it! The picture posted was taken at Beaver Creek, Colorado.

Yes, I did say that I want to go back to Alaska when it's colder. I'd really like to go in January and see the Northern Lights.

Tell Michelle that I'm working on the newspaper article. Lighten up, man! I'm working on the grammar. This seeve-nun ah'm goan work on it.

Re:Still around Chouteau?? - 2006/04/02 12:07 I don't know about as a LAN admin, but we are very short handed on Floor techs, unfortunately, they aren't posting the posistions right now, you can go see what is open at any of the sites on the company web page:

http://www.cherokeecasino.com

Click the career opertunities lick in the upper right corner of the page. Then click search and apply for jobs about halfway down the next page, and that will open a web based PeopleSoft application that will allow you to search the currently open jobs.

Paul, who do you know in the IT Dept?

Re:Still around Chouteau?? - 2006/04/02 13:28 I know Bill Budder, I believe he is a floor tech? I don't really know the layout of the company and what positions there are exactly. Paul Anderson - The Class of '98
