Re:WildCat - 2005/12/17 00:40 I wish I was able to try some of that!! Because ours was so gross. I was so glad when they put together the salad bar. You would think with age it would only get better. Guess not!!! Kimberly Morgan

Re:WildCat - 2005/12/30 11:24 We used to go to Horn's Dairy Snack for lunch everyday. They had our order ready when we got there, you didn't even have to phone it in. I worked there on weekends, oh, probably in 72 or 73, with Wendy, Courtney, Sabrina. Anyone remember Horn's!?! Pre-car days we walked to Kroeker's for candy and chips for lunch, they let you run a tab!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re:WildCat - 2005/12/30 16:01 I remember the Horn girls and eating there. Also going to Kroeker's store and getting candy. Roger Sellers worked there for a long time. That was when Chouteau was a cool place to live! I worked at the other grocery store that was originally owned by the Nichols. The Thurmans owned it when I worked there.

Re:WildCat - 2005/12/31 00:58 My dad always talked about going to those places. He would also tell me how Chouteau was just a happening little town. Everyone wanted to come to Chouteau and check everything out. I really wish I could have seen those days. Now when someone hears you mention your from Chouteau they ask you where's you horse and buggy or tractor. They just assume everyone is Amish. Kimberly Morgan

Re:WildCat - 2006/02/27 14:34 The Wildcat 2 is now open in the building that has been a consignment shop, and before that the Young Insurance agancy. The original Wildcat was in the building that the Deli is in now, in the front next to the deli, the one that has been split in two. The Wildcat 2 has several video games, a pool table or two and a phoozball table. I personally know the lady who runs the new joint (Pam Morrison/Grass/Jackson). (she used to be married to my Uncle{Ralph Grass Jr.})
