Re:Great teachers - 2006/01/06 22:31 oh yes I had the same three teachers in the 1960s.Mr. Fleming was a great 6th grade teacher he taught me to play basketball.I think sometimes Mrs. Witson wanted to use our heads for bowling balls, back then you could get a good ole whippen without someone yelling child abuse. And we had no AC,just windows.

Re:Great teachers - 2006/01/15 12:17 I enjoyed Mr. Ashley's class...you could just speak your mind, and he was always very straight forward! Loved it! I miss him the most.

I also miss Mr. Brown's class! Great time!

I think some of the hardest times I've laughed was with him in class, or at him, or something.....

Last time I heard, he was living in Missouri.

Re:Great teachers - 2006/02/03 07:58 There was a lot of teachers that I liked, some I didn't but I would say the one that helped me the most was Mr. Yocham. We could get him of subject and talk about something besides school.

Re:Great teachers - 2006/02/03 08:17 I don't know if any one remembers him but I think the one teacher that really had an effect on my life it was Mr. Elliot. He was the principal there a long time. He retired from that but then taught part time. He died my Jr year in a hunting accident. They let school out for the funeral. He was a very good science teacher. He would be teaching and just talking away. while he was talking he would be putting together and experiment. At the in of his talk he would either blow something up or make a horrible smell. He was there a long time. He taught my dad his first year teaching. School wasn't quite the same after he died.
