Re:Chouteau/Adair Rivalry - 2008/02/25 02:48 Oh gosh Tim, you graduated last year? That kinda makes me feel old.

Re:Chouteau/Adair Rivalry - 2008/02/26 05:59 This spirit of cordial relations and mutual respect between our two small towns sickens and disturbs me. In my day we invested a lot of effort into fostering that rivalry.

I've half a mind to load up a bunch of Seniors in the back of my truck, break out my grunge flannel shirt, bounce up highway 69 and stir up a ruckus in Adair. I think I have some old water balloons somewhere.

Some might call that contributing to the deliquency of a minor.... but I say our kids are already delinquent! Delinquent for abandoning our most closely held school traditions. Why, if I was still in high school newspaper, you can bet I'd write a scathing Editorial placing the blame squarely on YOU; The Reader.

Ahh, to heck with it. Who wants to babysit a bunch of toddlers born in 19-you-have-to-be-kidding-me-90? Besides, I'm tired and my back hurts. I'm going to bed and watching Leno.

Re:Chouteau/Adair Rivalry - 2008/02/27 21:06 Chad...I love reading your posts. I just had to say that. You make me laugh.

Re:Chouteau/Adair Rivalry - 2008/02/28 04:41 Well thank ya! Probably a lot of the people that visit this site read our discussions and think "Man, what is this guy's deal?"

That's fine. I haven't figured me out either.

I wish more people that have signed up would post though and get some more discussions going.

Howabout some Mr. Adair's Shop Class stories???? I remember when Melvin Sutherland pulled a can of WD-40 out of a cabinet, yelled something like 'The Torch!' and lit that puppy up for a couple waves through the air. I don't remember if he got caught or not. As big a disciplinarian as Mr. Adair was, that was just nuts.

Mr. Adair taught both me and my dad shop class. That's just wild.

Re:Chouteau/Adair Rivalry - 2008/02/28 20:21 hehe I figured you out years ago Chad. You're not that complicated.

I have to agree with you on the posting though. I really do wish more people posted! It would be really nice to see what everyone's doing now. To see where life has taken us all, cause Lord knows we've all scattered! I spread the word about the site every time I see someone I know...I have no idea if any of them have ever looked us up though.

My son had Mr Croft as a Science teacher and basketball coach... which I find just hilarious. We both had the same teachers. LOL
