I swore I would sign up for a social setworking site the same day I buy rollerskate sneakers and an iPod. But Peer pressure can make a man do funny things.

I still think it's a terrific way to get your identity stolen. And like my favorite radio personality Mike Steely on WWLS likes to say, 'Generally nothing good comes from Facebook.'

I'm still shunning MySpace and especially the lameness that is Twitter.

Kind of like how Ned Flanders on The Simpsons signed up for Cable just so he could block out all the channels.

I am considering making my wife a 'friend'...maybe.

My friendship is not quickly earned, nor easily sundered.

Ok that's not true - I just thought that sounded really menacing and tough.
