If you are a person who enjoys sampling the most disgusting drinks imaginable, do yourself a favor and try an Iced Mocha Coffee from McDonalds.
I stopped there on the way to work this morning and figured I'd try one of those Mocha things. They have whipped cream and hot fudge featured prominantly on the picture. I'm not a coffee person by any means but I do like shakes and floats. I figured I'd try one and see if it was decent.
I'm currently on my 3rd piece of Big Red gum of the morning. I would liken the experience to picking a charred piece of oak out of a week old campfire, brushing off some of the ashes and taking a hardy lick from the side. That's the taste I am trying to overcome.
I've never like coffee, but I thought maybe it was because it's hot. Drinks are supposed to be cold. Ice Cold. Like, one degree from being frozen solid cold. The only time I would ever want a hot drink is if I was pulled half alive out of a pond that was covered in ice.
Well, it's not just that it's hot. Apparantly I really do hate the taste of coffee/charcoal.
I'm saving that drink so I can cruise by McDonalds on the way home and splatter it all over their drive up window.
Now where's my gum??
