Re:Dove field wanted, Sept 1st. - 2008/09/02 23:02 ok heard it thru the grapevine...from a worker at CC whom quit the day before this started. She said they would run out of bleach and couldn't clean properly and also that there was a mexican family that was living in the owners office for a couple weeks till they found a home. Does anyone else see a problem with this. My mom said that when they first opened it was great but over the years they just haven't taken very good care of it.

Re:Dove field wanted, Sept 1st. - 2008/09/03 00:29 Heck no, my shotgun remained cold and clean. The one day of the year I care about hunting of any sort... and it comes and goes without me firing a shot!

I drove past a lot of fields with guys hunkered down all over them. I just wanted to bawl! Michelle and I should have been out there. I think I'll shoot some skeet this weekend to prep for next year.

Yep, Country Cottage just hasn't been very good lately. it's kind of a destination type place for city folk to take a trip out to and tell themselves it's 'good, down home cookin'. Hey City folk! Here's a hint: Your restaraunts are 1000x better. EAT IN TOWN!

I stick to Dutch Pantry on Chicken Noodle night. Amish food is pretty much bland and not real inviting, but they can do two things well: Bread and dessert. The noodles count as the former, and they are awesome.

I wonder if this is Noodle night???

Re:Dove field wanted, Sept 1st. - 2008/09/04 13:09 Mayes County really does need to go to the food permit system. I know Tulsa County has them for that matter alot of countys have gone to that. People handling food making sure they have all their shots and have had food handling classes. Thats just me I guess. PEEKING IN WINDOWS

Re:Dove field wanted, Sept 1st. - 2008/09/04 20:21 i think its a great idea. Didn't know Mayes County didn't do that already. I ws reading today in the pryor daily times about the restaurants around there and their code violations. Add those with the fact of not having food handlers permits....GROSS
