Happy Valentine's Day! - 2008/01/21 23:43 So, what is everyone doing for Valentine's Day this year? I think we are going to order pizza and watch a movie at home. It's hard to get away with a baby and a preschooler! ...and I don't want to fight the busy restaurants! I guess we are getting old...lol! I asked my hubby what he would like for Valentine's Day and he said he wanted a bug deflector for his truck! LOL How am I supposed to do that? Gee, what a romantic nice gift!

What's everyone else doing? Chad, is Michelle getting a gun for Valentine's?

Re:Happy Valentine's Day! - 2008/01/22 03:02 I'm hoping I might possibly get my mother's ring by Valentine's Day. We were supposed to pick it up Friday night, but when we went to get it, they had MISSPELLED my 7 year old's name. I was less than thrilled. So we had to send it back to have it fixed. We'll see how long it takes them.

No plans for Valentine's Night. Hubby is working massive overtime at the moment, so I'm not planning to do anything. I don't want to get my hopes up. lol

Re:Happy Valentine's Day! - 2008/01/22 17:05 CRUD. Valentine's is coming up!

Brandy, not to defend the jeweler but for the record you should throw in the fact that you named your 7 year old Xylezerxia. Ha!

I hate this holiday. I never know what to get so I ask her what she wants and then it's not a surprise. She's bad sick all the time still so restaraunts are ify.
Whitehorn Cove is open on weekends now and I bet they do something special. They are barely scraping by and we want them to stay open so we give them as much business as we can.

Everyone go eat there soon so they stay open.

Michelle doesn't need any more guns. I believe in gifts that fill a need and right now she needs a bedpan.

Re:Happy Valentine's Day! - 2008/01/22 19:54 LOL I don't even want to THINK about what they'd make of that name. As it is they seem to think the correct way to spell Kathryn is Katheryn. O_o that doesn't even LOOK right. You can tell that jeweler's not a trekkie.

Re:Happy Valentine's Day! - 2008/01/22 23:04 Wow, Chad, how can I say thanks?! It's ordered! Now, you want the sad, sad, truth? He asked for that last year, too! Next time, I'll consult you! lol

Poor Michelle! I really feel for her! I hope the morning sickness ends soon for her! Congratulations, BTW! Do you two plan on finding out the gender or are you going to keep it a surprise?

Re:Happy Valentine's Day! - 2008/01/23 00:03 We want to know. Though Michelle says it's a boy. She was right last time. The heartbeat was a little slower at the last ultrasound, so maybe it is a boy.

It really doesn't matter. If it's a boy, we get a matched set and the proud Holland name lives on. If it's a girl, we don't have to buy any new accessories.

Although, if it's a girl, that's another wedding to pay for. Yikes!
