Re:So is taking care of 2 kids a LOT harder than 1 - 2008/01/16 18:55 Congrats Chad...

My wife and I just got a puppy a few weeks ago and I think that is a lot of work, lol. We're using this as the practice run I suppose... who knows.

Re:So is taking care of 2 kids a LOT harder than 1 - 2008/01/17 19:40 Well, I guess we'll just make do. I think you should have as many kids as you want/can afford. We're definetely done after this, though!

Paul, best of luck to ya. I think women are hard wired to have kids. See, you probably think you got married because you have these common interests and enjoy each other's company. HA! That's what she wants you to think, and she may even believe it herself. But there's a little subroutine in the back of her mind that's secretly been screening potential fathers.

Kind of like The Terminator.
"Subject - Paul.
Evaluation: Steady job, even temper, tolerable personality, low to moderate body odor.
Classfication: Acceptable Mate."

So you just watch out for that program to kick in. Keep her away from friends or relatives your age with children. Ask her to volunteer at a day care if she gets to talking about children.

But seriously, kids are great. Look at me. Hap-hap-happy guy! Oops, the wife's staring again. Smile, look at the baby, look at the baby, wink, nod annnnnd smile big!

Ok, that's done. What was I saying?

Re:So is taking care of 2 kids a LOT harder than 1 - 2008/01/18 03:50 Chad don't let people lie to you it gets hard with 2. I've got one of each as you know and they fight. At christmas gotta make sure they have the same amount of presents, twice as many clothes, toys, dr. visits, teacher meetings, good Lord WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??????????? Just Kidding you get twice as much LOVE.
Although they drive me nuts I wouldn't trade them for the world. On that Note>>>>>>>funny story...ot not so funny. Friday I picked my kids up from the neighbors who watches them and they were outside on the trampoline. 3 at once. I reminded my children that we jump one at a time on the trampoline cuz Itell them the story of Adam Klusecek breaking his leg on our trampoline with Mike Nelson popping him in the air. Well Nikole didn;t listen and wouldn't you know it 5 mintues later she came in the house screaming. After 3 different DR. visits she has a beautiful Crimson colored cast that will be on for 1 month and then a boot for another month. She has missed out on the rest of basketball season and will be behind in softball. So funny huh?

Re:So is taking care of 2 kids a LOT harder than 1 - 2008/01/18 21:37 Robyn, I nearly fell out of my chair when you sent me that picture and the text message. I nearly died laughing. Poor kid. But yea, she shoulda listened to Mom. Now she and her friends are going to have something to tell THEIR kids that their kids aren't going to listen to. Ahhh the circle of life, eh?
