Re:Mr. Flemming (Centennial) - 2007/11/21 22:41 Chad you were doing good there until the sliced peanut butter comment. With everything you mentioned I'm sure you have to know that OSU has provided this state with many more national titles than OU. Paul Anderson - The Class of '98

Re:Mr. Flemming (Centennial) - 2007/11/22 02:24 Paul, that is absolutely correct about OSU. Like 44 or so Titles, right? Most of them in the sport known as 'Raslin. But would I be wrong in speculating that you'd have to look up OSU's current wrestling coach to tell me his name? Haha, zinger!

Hey, it doesn't mean anything to me. I didn't go to either school. I would have flunked Algebra anywhere I went anyway. I'm a Redmen or River Turkey or whatever NSU is now. Except I didn't graduate, so I think I'm pretty much just some dude who gave the school some money and enjoyed those incredible blueberry muffins in the student union.

Brandy, you need to ease up on defending Oklahoma from the foreigners, ok? If someone believes Oklahoma is a hill-less, treeless, desolate prairie occupied by tumbleweeds and wild horses that roam the dirt streets of our sparse towns while twisters heft dairy cows over the horizon, please don't correct them! It's crowded enough as it is.

Oh yeah, also we're the home of Sonic, right? Sweeeeeeet.

Back to the topic; I didn't hear about a time capsule being unearthed for the centennial. Wonder if it's still there? Does anyone know where it was buried? I bet there are several around still if you know where to look.

Also, seems like we buried one in Mrs Kolb's 5th grade class, maybe. Does anyone remember that? All I remember from 5th grade is the boys owning the girls at the Beanbag game in P.E. and not losing once all year. Man, we shoulda made a trophy.

Re:Mr. Flemming (Centennial) - 2007/11/25 11:57 There's gotta be SOMEBODY that knows where it was buried! lol Now my curiosity is getting the better of me.

And Chad...you just have to know my mother in law...and as much as I love Oklahoma, if she ever moved here, I'd move to Toronto. (where she lives currently) But as she's Canadian, and her husband is a pretty successful real estate agent there, I don't think I'll see immigration papers on her anytime soon. (THANK GOD!!)
