Yeah, it's painted silver and on a stand in front of the new elementary. I don't know that it's 'ringer' works anymore. It would be neat if someone knew it's history, cause I bet it's older than we think.
I remember it was on one side of the exit stairway and the other side was open so a lot of times we'd swing under the railings and GI Joe drop down to the dirt and skip the stairs.
That same Zachary kid I mentioned earlier had a bad fall doing that in like First grade and that was the first bloody nose I ever saw. He was bawling and I was shocked and thought he was a goner for sure!

ANYONE REMEMBER THE BELL THAT USE TO BE OUT THE DOORS BY THE KINDERGARDEN ROOM. i REMEMBER i USE TO THINK IT WAS THE "LIBERTY BELL".
