Dear Mrs. Childres,
It is nice to know your mother is doing well in Claremore. She shared so much of her energy with the young people of Chouteau with true elegance and style for so many years. The old neighborhood was so beautiful, I still sometimes go back and walk on the stepping stones through that beautiful property amongst the trees grandpa planted long ago. We enjoyed having our son and my two brothers baptized at the Presbytarian Church there in recent years. In my opinion that church is so romantic and perfect it should be in a movie. Perhaps it would be a good location if
"Walnut Grove" is made for the silver screen.
Tommy and his wife are now in Connecticut we haven't seen them for a while but hopefully will soon again.
May the autumn season find you with much joy and prosperous harvest.
