Oklahoma Adult Degree Completion Program - 2007/08/07 22:38 Has anyone participated in this degree program?
http://www.okhighered.org/adc/

It reads like anyone who has at least 72 credit hours can take these 9 management courses to get a B.S. from RSU, NSU, Langston, etc. It's a legit degree offered by these Oklahoma universities cooperatively.
Once I applied, I found out the catch is that you must have some prerequisites plus at least 40 of your hours from a 4 year university. Since most of my hours are from TCC, the advisor told me on top of the 27 hours that you need for this degree, I'd have to take a Math (3 hours) plus another 10 hours of filler to meet that 40 hour requirement.
I was really bummed to find out the fine print. Just doing the 9 core courses in 8 week blocks was daunting enough, but there's no way I'm going through all that extra for a degree that doesn't even relate to my industry.
I just wanted to cap off all that time and money I spent in class without ever graduating, and this looked like it was geared to help people like me do that. As they say though, the devil is in the details. Some of you might have more hours out of the way, so it might be a good option for some.

It looks like Gatorade isn't even talking to anyone without a Bachelor's Degree. I couldn't believe they require that even for their IT Desktop Support position!

So has anyone got any experience with this program?
