Re:So what does everybody do to pay the bills? - 2005/12/24 01:28 Well after i graduated i worked on my parents dairy and took a home study course for two years and got my degree in veterinary assistance. I worked on my parents dairy for 20 years i retired in 2000 lol after my dad & mom sold the farm to my older brother i worked in the veterinary field for awhile . I then took classes and got my C N A lic. and love working with the elderly in nursing homes.

My dream is to go back to school for elementary education. Only bad thing is that I would take a major pay cut by doing that.

I currently work for a company called Sportsmith in Tulsa. I've been with them for a little over 6 years and have worn many hats from electronics tech / customer service rep / systems administrator.

I really enjoy my job mostly because my company is always on the leading edge when it comes to technology so I'm constantly out there looking for anything that will help our company run smoother and more efficiently.

Another aspect of my job there is the website administrator (shock). We have been working for a few months to convert our old site into an e-commerce enabled site which we will be turning on in the next few days.

Other than that I do free-lance website design / website hosting / side projects. Psssst - I'm for hire... just e-mail me if you are looking for a website.

When I get out this summer I'm going to start at OSU and hopefully not work too much. I'll see how well that goes though.
