Re:Woo for Sun!! - 2007/07/19 19:45 No way I could do the Coast Guard. I love to swim and I like to be out on a boat. At least on the land, I can take more guys with me, and there are more places to hide if we need to. I'll just deal with the heat. To be honest, you really do get used to it after a while. Being my second time over here, it isn't so bad. Right now, I would love to be mowing the grass somewhere. That would mean I was seeing something green instead of a bunch of brown all the time. I found out today that they opened a pool on the camp I'm at, but it is still about a 20-25 minute drive from where I work to get to it. I'm sure it will be full all the time too. I'm almost done and out of here anyway, so I think I'll make it. Looks like the end of August is the magic time. It just can't get here soon enough!

Re:Woo for Sun!! - 2007/07/19 20:18 Vance: Rock On Brother. You know being married to a vet and having military men in my family for genereations I can't thank you enough for all that you are doing. It's not easy but I have a feeling it will all be worth it in the end. Can't wait to see you either be safe and God bless.
Chad: you should get a mower with mulching blades its easier. Bagging on the other hand, Michael had to empty the bag every 2 passes and he was hatin it. Mulcher is better and works.
Brandy: Ok when I come up to visit my parents I'm bringing my kids over since they no longer have a pool. So be ready for me. LOL
Now that we have got our lawn mowed we looked at our privacy fence and thanks to all the rain we had its starting to lean. Not something Michael wanted to notice but now looks like we might be replacing it. CRAP!

Re:Woo for Sun!! - 2007/07/20 03:07 Come on over! It's not huge, but big enough for 5 or 6 kids to be rambunctious in and have fun. 18'. Dan's spent the whole day mowing and cutting down weeds and stuff, and he has more to do tomorrow. I hate the way our yard is laid out. I can't wait to move. *grumbles*

Re:Woo for Sun!! - 2007/07/20 15:34 ahh the sun. It has been nice seeing its beautiful face. Sure wish the lake levels would receed a little faster. Seeing that I just moved back to Chouteau after being gone forever. Now i have my child who will be started Chouteau Schools in August. Poor guy doesn't know anyone. I hate that for him. I member what it was like to start a new school. It wasn't fun. Can someone tell me the name of the principle at the elementary school, and maybe give me a little insight to him please. thank you

Re:Woo for Sun!! - 2007/07/20 19:21 Itsn't it Mr. Boone still? If so that's chad Holland's wife's dad. (did tht make sense?) He's great.
Don't worry about him making friends chouteau is so small you can't help but know everyone in a matter of days. LOL
Shoot Brandy, Chad and I went from Kindergarden to senior year together not to mention the other 20 people in our class.
Good luck.

Re:Woo for Sun!! - 2007/07/20 19:29 hehe Yea, that still just floors my husband. His graduating class had somewhere in the hundreds. He didn't know most of the people he went to school with.

Chouteau's bigger than it used to be though!
