Re:Our Graduation pics are up. - 2007/05/30 18:00 Alex was pretty cool. Kevin K. went and stayed with her in Germany for about a month that summer after graduation. Her brother drove him all over the place showing him the sights. When he got home I called him up and said, "Are you ready for some JLs?" I had read his mind. I had a feeling after a month of kraut-this and wurst-that he'd want some quality BBQ.
He took her to the prom, so I'm glad she got to sample that bit of Americana during her stay.
She stayed with Chris Neel's family, I think. So did David Anniot, didn't he?

I have talent, don't get me wrong. But 'worlds fastest consumer of milkshakes' is not really a blessing I can make a living off of....or take much pride in.

I must confess I faked playing a flutophone in 4th grade. I memorized just enough to pass my solo of 'Mary Had a Little Lamb'.

I can play Dueling Banjos on a piano, though!

Re:Our Graduation pics are up. - 2007/05/30 20:41 Talent...heh. I was a music nerd all through school...felt like I lived with the Kroekers at one point...but I wouldn't say I have talent. I would say I'm just good enough at playing by ear to not get kicked out. LOL! Only real talent I've ever had has been computers and that's not that great as SO many people I know know more than I do. But, that's what I'm going to school for. Unless I change my major to psychology.

Yea, I want to go into IT, given that I missed out on a job at my current workplace simply cause I didn't have a degree. I had more experience and more knowledge of the system than the guy who got the job, but the State made them hire him. Course, the fact that I look 16 didn't help my cause. *sigh* My administrator (who is a woman) REALLY wanted me in the position, but unfortunately she was only one vote in the matter.
