1. Longer timeout period for the direct messaging feature. Example: If you type a lengthy message or step away for a few minutes, then come back, finish and hit 'send', your message will be wiped out and you will need to log back in to your profile to continue. I have lost what I was going to say to someone several times due to this. I would also like to see the character limit of the message feature expanded so it doesn't cut off a long message.

2. Expand the "Latest Forum Posts" section to display 8-10 of the latest postings, rather than the latest 5. Others might not want that so maybe it should be put to a vote first.

3. When reading the messages under the Message Board area, I would like to be able to click on each individuals Name or Avatar and be taken to their Profile page.

Ok, get with it. What do we pay you guys for anyway?

Let me check on this one and see what I can do to get this fixed.

I don't mind expanding this... If anybody has a complaint please let me know, I don't think it will be a huge issue.

I'll get this fix added as well, you can currently click on the little icon below the poster's picture that looks like a little person and it will take you to their profile as well.

If you adjusted it since I first mentioned it, it may be fixed. I told my wife that it timed out just so I'd get credit for writing her a poem! It didn't actually time out today on me.
I also wish it would let me stay logged on longer before timing out. In fact, that is probably the root issue. It would be the login timeout that needs adjusted. I bet there isn't a seperate Time To Live for the forums. It's the login that is timing out and causing me to lose messages because by the time I hit 'Send' my TTL has expired.

I see the Latest Message Posting box has been expanded to 10. Cool!

I've had this problem on several boards, and sometimes it's the board, sometimes it's browser, sometimes it's just little internet gremlins. So I either write my post in wordpad, or copy it before I hit submit. *shrug* Nothing like writing a 2000 word debate post, complete with links, and losing it cause the board logged ya out! I've said many MANY a curse word over this lol
