Military Extensions - 2007/04/15 08:37
I'm sure that a lot of you have seen the news recently, and have seen that the Army has decided to extend the length of time for their deployed soldiers. Well, that crap hit real close to home for me. My brigade is one of the ones over here that will be getting extended. Our return home date went from mid-June to mid-October. As far as I know, I will stay in the Baghdad area the rest of the time I am here. It sucks, and nobody is really happy about it. To Robyn, Brandy, and Chad, I really had hoped to be back in the states so that I could try to be in the area whenever you guys decided try to do a class get together. Well, I won't be able to do that now. Please continue to pray for all the soldiers over here, and their families. It has been a long hard year so far, and now we have longer to go. We'll make it through though. I hope to see as many people as possible once I finally get back to the states at the end of all of this.

Not going to get into the politics of it, cause I hate politics and that stuff doesn't matter anyway in this conversation. I just want you home safe and sound. And as soon as possible. We'll be praying for you and all those with you. *hugs*
