Re:Birthday Wishes - 2007/02/28 19:59 Noted. I will type slower in the future for you Paul. HA!

It's all a matter of perception. Most of the folks where I work assume I'm about 25 unless they know the truth. I reckon I'm what they call 'immature'. Beats the alternative if you ask me. Maybe I could get on Dr. Phil's show?

I also have to confess.....that's not actually me in the pic I posted.

Re:Birthday Wishes - 2007/02/28 21:44 I was informed the other day that I can't be older than MAYBE 21. O_o Good lord, I would have been 8 years old when Kory was born!! Course, I LOOKED about 8 when he was born...Oh Vance, I found some pics the other day from when Kory was born...I'll have to scan them in and post 'em. Good LORD we were all so YOUNG!!!! THAT's what makes me feel old. He looks so much like Brandon...did you know he's the same age Brandon was when he was born? That's kinda scary. hehe

I'm loving the aging game though. I think it's really interesting to see how I see things so much different now than I did even 5 years ago. I'm much more mellow now, though I still have a temper. I just love watching my kids grow up and see them doing the same things I did, and thinking the same things I did. Hearing them come home and tell the same old stupid jokes we used to tell in elementary and Jr. High.

Re:Birthday Wishes - 2007/02/28 22:26 Every year, we all get a year older. I never really think about that, and never really think twice on my birthday. I fully intend to grow old, bald, and grey gracefully. I love the military life since it keeps me in good shape and keeps me feeling young, most days. I hate that I'm gone so much and don't get to see my kids growing up, but I'll be back home soon. Brandy, I can't wait to see those old pics. I bet we all look so young. I have a pic of me, Dustan, and Brandon with our grandfather at Christmas. I'll try to get it on here soon. I hope that I will get the chance to go back home and see some people when I get home from here.

Re:Birthday Wishes - 2007/03/02 17:53 Chad.. 30 the new 20, I love it. I got carded for cigarettes. lol talk about being on top of the world at that moment.
I am glad to see thought that age hasn't effected (affect or effect?) our sence of humor. I guess you get funnier with age. And Brandy since our birthdays are so close we should have a big 29th (again) birthday bash.

Re:Birthday Wishes - 2007/03/02 19:29 I was told once that people don't ever age past 21. They just start having anniversaries of their 21st birthday. It is still scary to think that I'm going on my 10th anniversary. I was looking on here, and of everyone in the class of '95 with their birthday posted, I'm the second oldest. The only one older than me is Jim Bob. Really makes you feel good.

Re:Birthday Wishes - 2007/03/03 22:31 Yes Robyn we should!! I'll be about due for a big blowout party by then.

Gonna get those pics scanned in this weekend Vance. Dustan wants me to send them to him too. It's so odd to see how much Kory looks like Brandon. And Vance, I'd love to see you if you get back around here sometime when you get home. I know Kory would love it too. I think he worries more about you than he lets on. He gets very serious whenever you're mentioned.
