Re:Bundle up Chouteau folks!! - 2009/01/29 17:45 Yeah, call it global awarming or normal climate cycling or whatever. But I remember as a kid being able to COUNT on at least 1 big snow and 2 or more lighter snows every winter. Often times March was when we got the most snow.

I hope these have just been fluke years and my kids will get to play in normal snow sometime.

But hey, our power hasn't even flickered all week. Those last two ice storms really weeded out most of the points of potential failure.

Re:Bundle up Chouteau folks!! - 2009/01/30 05:32 My husband and I were talking about that exact same thing Chad. Ours has been good this time too. Though we did lose power for over an hour during that last big thunderstorm we had. So I guess they fixed that problem. haha

My Mother-In-Law told me to quit complaining about a little ice. They've had over 5 feet of snow since the beginning of December. LOL I just told her that's why I live HERE instead of THERE. I was there when it snowed once. It was fun to go out and play in, and I'd have had more fun if it WAS here at my house. But 5 months a year of that BS? Oh HELL no. I'd rather just stay here and not get any snow.
