Re:Military Life? - 2005/10/25 11:45 Travis - I'm pretty sure you and my little brother have the same job in the Navy. He is on the USS Lake Erie and takes care of their Phalynx system. He has sent me some video of that system which is rather bad ass. Paul Anderson - The Class of '98

Re:Military Life? - 2005/10/25 21:16 Yeah paul, we work on the same system. The system is pretty badass. 4500 rounds per minute, depleted uranium rounds at 20mm. The tracking is so sensitive it could tracker a quarter flying in at the ship. And with the infrared camera it make more holes in stuff than a swiss cheese factory.

Re:Military Life? - 2005/10/26 16:53 Thanks.... I am thinking I will be okay, I know there is going to be a lot of ups and downs but we will find a way to make it through it. I know that no matter what I will have my husbands back no matter where he is or where I am.
As of right now all I need is support. I am a littl scared but I am making it.
Thanks... Marcia

I joined the Army Reserve during my senior year ('94-'95), but I got out within 9 months of joining. I reenlisted 3 1/2 years ago in the active Army. I am a Combat Medic, and have already deployed to Iraq once. I will possibly deploy to Iraq again around July 2006. If you have any questions, I know the Army and Marines are different from each other, but I would be glad to answer whatever questions I can.

Re:Military Life? - 2006/01/31 22:57 Well if it's of any help I'm on my way back from my second tour in Iraq with the Marines. I can answer lots of questions about the life and lifestyle.
