Any interesting 'Blizzard of '06' stories? - 2006/12/04 18:37 It's pretty quiet around here so I thought I'd see if anyone had any interesting tales about this little snow we had last week?
I have none, except that I fell off my back steps and landed in a position I thought only an experienced ballerena could do.
We just stayed home through it all so we didn't have any excitement on the road. I did hear on the news some Tulsan called 9-1-1 to report that they saw some cows with icicles hanging on them and someone needed to help them. That was good for a laugh.

City folk!

Re:Any interesting 'Blizzard of '06' stories? - 2006/12/04 23:09 down here in Moore we didn't get as much as chouteau but we got alot of ice. During the ice/snow on thursday I had to work . Nothing exciting but as the roads were bad and people couldn't get to work we did magange to have a few IDIOTS come and shop. Mind you we had no special sales or anything that couldn't wait till better weather. My co-workers and myself did nothing but laugh at how stupid people can be coming out in that crap just to buy clothes.
On another note my kids and my husnad did manage to build snowmen Friday and they had a blast with it. I remember sleding and pulling our sleds behind 4 wheelers when we were little. Here people sled down the hugh hills of the on & off ramps going to I-35. City folk...can't live with 'em and can't live without 'em.

Re:Any interesting 'Blizzard of '06' stories? - 2006/12/05 02:53 After pulling the sleds behind the four wheelers got a little boring, we blew the tube up from the boat and pulled it behind the four wheelers. That is FUN! The only bad thing about that is that we packed the snow down so tight that we now have a blanket of pure ice for a yard. Makes for an intersting walk to get to the cars every morning.
