Re:Baby News - 2006/11/13 05:54 We'll have to enjoy the time we have before she gets any attitude, I guess.
She did get to go on her first boat ride this year though. We went out for the final cruise of the year last Thursday when it was warm-ish. She did great. Actually she never woke up the whole time. Our parents were not real excited about her first boat trip at 2 and half weeks old! Especially considering our luck on the water!
I imagine she'll be riding the innertube with me in 2 years. Skiing in 5, maybe. Ya-Hoo! Poor kid won't have a chance to be afraid of the water. She'll never know anything different!
Thanks for the congrats everyone! I also predict Chouteau will have an especially tough girls tennis team in about 15 years!

Re:Baby News - 2006/11/13 23:28 Chad here's a funny story. When our Taylor was about 2 months old we went with friends out on a pontune boat and got pulled over by lake patrol. They asked us if everyone had a life vest. We said yes. then he saw Taylor and asked about the baby. A friend of ours stood up and said, "He floats" We had to dock and take him off. So if you ever get pulled over on the water make sure you tell them the baby seat floats. LOL

Re:Baby News - 2006/11/14 21:39 Chad,
Beau is 1 and we had him on the tube for the first time this summer. He loves the water and we always have to keep a hand on him because he loves to jump over the side of the boat. I figure we will try to let him ski next summer. You are right, if you don't give her a chance to not like it, she will be just fine. I can understand how the grandparents were a little upset. How is the bundle of joy doing anyway? I am so happy for the three of you. Cant wait to see her. The pictures you posted are beautiful. Talk to you later.
