from 3rd to 5th in the mid 60's, you had to get by mrs mitchell, schulz(westinghaver), and witson. them women were the meanest unrelenting women ive ever dealt with.
they took no prisoners, and doled out punishment more than praise. remember the "cloak room" by the water fountain? i still cringe. Parents now would have a cow if that much beating went on. But still Ruby Jaggers had to be one of the best teachers ever.
