High School in My Words: High school for me was fun and mostly carefree. My biggest challenges were math and accounting, so I try to stay away from jobs with too much math. Senior year was the best. I had nine months to embarrass myself, so I joined groups that I thought there was no way I'd get into (quiz bowl, academic team, Tri-State Honor Choir). I had so much fun.

Work Life and Milestones: After graduating from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, I worked two years at Oaks Mission Public Schools teaching secondary English and Oklahoma History. After several years of job-hunting frustration, I went back to school to take a shot at Mass Communications. I got pregnant and have stayed home since to take care of Victoria. After my husband Justice graduates from TU, I will renew my search for a job or masters degree. Maybe I'll follow Mike Rowe's example and get myself a dirty job. Ha! The job of President of the United States will be open soon. (Also a certified Cat Wrangler and Dog Herder.)
